"The luxury of honesty."
Most of us have never thought of honesty as a luxury, but I discovered that it probably actually is. While I was travelling abroad I had people telling me left and right to always be on the lookout and to be careful. Of what exactly?!!! The answer was "other people". It was really an eyeopening trip because I realized that while living in Chicago isn't the safest, it still on a daily average beat many parts of the world. Because we generally have more as a whole we have the luxury of honesty. And it is when we are honest that we can live a truly good life.
